So secretly, like wrongs  hushed-up, they went.就像掩盖罪过似的,默默无闻离

威尔弗雷德·欧文(1893-1918)英国诗人,1893318日,欧文出生于英格兰什洛普郡的奥斯韦斯特里城,他从小爱好文学诗歌,尤其仰慕浪漫主义诗人济慈(1795-1821)。欧文敏于观察,思想深刻,创作技巧非凡,常用多样的诗段形式和多变的韵律结构塑造简明的意象,传统中蕴含创新。他主要围绕“战争的可悲”这一主题,从自身经历出发创作。

他主要围绕“战争的可悲”这一主题创作。欧文一生短暂,却为世人留下了近百首诗歌,其名作大多为身后出版,包括《为国捐躯》(Dulce Et Decorum Est),《青春挽歌》(Anthem for Doomed youth),《徒劳无功》(Futility)等等诗歌。

全诗分为六个诗节,全诗共20行。四二音步错落排列。以扬抑格为主。这是诗的一,二,三节。第一节诗四行诗,二节诗二行诗,三节诗五行诗。这是译诗的四,五,六节。第四节三行诗,五节二行诗,六节五行诗。第四节诗韵式: aba;  五节诗韵式: ab  六节诗韵式:  cdccd  .
